TRUE HIGH-SPEED INTERNET FOR LOUISA COUNTY.
ABOUT CVALink AND SCS BROADBAND
In 2001, CVALink was started as a dialup company to provide a local alternative to AOL in Louisa VA. CVALink quickly saw that high-speed technologies would lead the future, so it started looking at what people were doing with wireless. CVALink began wireless service by leasing space on Louisa’s town water tower and was soon providing wireless service to rural areas around Louisa County.
Based out of Nelson County, SCS Broadband began delivering wireless internet service in rural Virginia over 10 years ago. The mission then, as now, was to bring quality internet service to under-served rural homes and businesses.
After purchasing CVALink, SCS Broadband’s management team formed AcelaNet LLC as the holding company for both SCS Broadband and CVALink. Both brands are now in use to provide continuity in their respective regions.
SCS Broadband and CVALink are working hard to seamlessly unite both systems, as well as to provide a unified customer service experience. Click here to go to the main SCS Broadband website, or click below to check your location for service with our system.
